04.02.11 - Unplugged

Adele, Robyn and Eva & The Heartmaker are my favorite artists at the moment. All three of them are performing in the nearest future. Unfortunately, due to my condition, I can't really plan anything that far ahead, meaning I can't buy the tickets now. I suppose I'll just have to enjoy their performances at home.

31.01.11 - Weekend getaway

I see I've messed up the date on my last post. Looks like I'm still back in 2010. Oh well it's difficult to get everything right these days.

Ok that was quite random, but my head works that way nowadays so excuse me for my messy post. There is unfortunately no change in my health. I'm still feeling really poor, but I guess I'm used to it now. It's kind of my everyday life. I know it's only temporarily and that's how I cope with it (well at least, that's how I'm coping with it today).

My friend Ingrid convinced me to go away with her and her boyfriend for for the weekend. They wanted to rent a lodge in the mountains and asked Vidar and I to come along. I was a bit hesitant, but I'm so glad that we went. Although I mostly stayed in and didn't join them for cross country skiing, it was still great to get away from the bed/sofa at home. The sofa in the lodging was quite comfortable as well and with a much better view. I'm totally exhausted today, but it was definitely well worth it.

23.01.10 - Light up my life

It's been an exhausting week for me. Been back and forward to the doctor's for check ups and so on. Who would have thought that so many discomforts and pains could derive from pregnancy. Well I suppose I'm one of those unlucky ones.

Already by Wednesday, I was hysterical, nearly crying my eyes out. But thanks to some really amazing people in my life, I made it through. I'm so blessed to have great friends and a wonderful husband who will put up with me even when I'm at my lowest. Oh and thanks for the talks and the lovely gifts.

13.01.11 - Preggy lady

I'm lying in bed, which by the way has been my residence for the last couple of weeks. In the midst of my dizziness, nausea and feverish state (and a tiny bit of frustration), I'm trying to get the strength to write a couple of words. Don't get me wrong, I am soooo happy to be pregnant, but I wish I could actually go a day without the need to spend it in bed or the bathroom. Apparently it was suppose to get better after 12 weeks, but haven't seen the light in the tunnel yet. 

Instead of venting out, which I maybe already too late for, I opt for web shopping to cheer me up. Fashion can still be fun even with a little bump. Here are some of the items I'm ordering from Topshop:

25.12.10 - Santa was in town

Apparently I've been a good girl this year too. Christmas Eve was wonderful with great food, lovely company and everything that I wanted underneath the Christmas tree. I'm spending the holidays with my hubby's family in the west coast; a very small, but relaxing place. Tradition is the key word here, but it's kind of refreshing once a year. True to tradition, we overate and spent too much money on gifts. Here are some of my favourite moments:
