It's amazing how pretty it can be when the sun is out. Went for a Sunday walk and this was our view:

30.10.10 - Datenight

We turned down Halloween parties for a night in. Key ingredients; pretty little skirt, rice and chicken and homemade Oreocake. I bought the skirt a couple of days ago at H&M. I've already worn it three times and it's my favorite garment at the moment. Hoping the snow will stay away for a couple more weeks which will enable me to wear it more.

29.10.10 - The land of the free

I know I'm a day late. So keeping up with my promise, I'm posting early in the morning to get back on track.

I mentioned earlier that I went to the US this summer. It was my first time in the US. We flew to Las Vegas, and from there rented a car, and had a mini road trip around California. It was tremendous. So many variations of nature, people and cities. Looking at the pics now I realize how much we actually saw and experienced in such a short amount of time.

28.10.10 - Marc by Marc

I spent two weeks in California a couple of months ago and of course I had to stop by Marc by Marc at Melrose. I'm a huge fan and went totally gaga in the shop, although I actually didn't end up with a lot. I bought two bags, a t-shirt and some MJ memorabilia for giveaways.

Many of my friends who have been to the US rave about the shopping opportunities there. I still think London is so much better. Might be that I prefer the British fashion scene. Most of the things that I bought in California were designer goods as the prices were lower than in Europe. Logical, I didn't really end up with a new wardrobe when I came home (which I sometimes do whenever I've been to London). All inn all, I didn't really understand what the rave was all about. I do however think that I might change my mind if I ever get to New York one day...

25.10.10 - London love

Loving London. This pic was taken last year by a friend of mine. We spent a weekend in November doing nothing but shopping, dining and partying. I was exhausted on the flight back home and probably spent a week recuperating, but at the same time felt revitalized.

London is by far my favorite city in the world.  I remember stepping out of the train from Gatwick and being all alone. I had to wait for my friend as we had taken different flights. I sat at a cafe nearby, grabbed my book and had the best feeling in the world; like I was at home.

24.10.10 - Flower power

No, my significant other didn't surprise me with flowers today, but I actually bought them myself.  I try to have fresh flowers as often I can and a Sunday afternoon stroll gave me an opportunity to stop by the florist. These pink roses added a touch of romance to the livingroom. Will post a pic of how it looka like someday. I'm not much of an interior designer, but I sometimes I pretend to be. I guess the important factor for me is that it feels like home.

Oh and to my significant other's defense, every now and then he does surprise me with something pretty.

Flicking or clicking through the world of fashion online, I stumbled upon Mulberry's latest spring collection. I fell in love with this bag at an instant. It's like they've taken the best from both worlds; the classiness from Bayswater wrapped together with the more urban style from Alexa. It's a perfect combination. I was saving up for Alexa, but maybe I should wait for this lovely thing to hit the shop. Pretty sure I won't be disappointed.

I suppose it's old news by now, but Albert Elbaz is doing a collaboration with H&M. Liking the bling on her wrist. Looking forward to the big day.

21.10.10 - Sushi delight

It's been a though week and I couldn't be bothered making any food today so opted for takeaway. I love food. Be prepared for heaps of food posts on this blog. Enjoying the sushi at this very moment.

Attraversiamo

It's been a while and I'm not going to waste this space by rambling about things in the past. Instead I'm letting go and crossing over or Attraversiamo as they say in Eat, Pray and Love.

In the spirit of looking ahead, I'm making this blog about the little things in life, the pretty little things that makes me happy. As a challenge, I will try to post at least one pretty little thing everyday. So watch this space!
