I spent two weeks in California a couple of months ago and of course I had to stop by Marc by Marc at Melrose. I'm a huge fan and went totally gaga in the shop, although I actually didn't end up with a lot. I bought two bags, a t-shirt and some MJ memorabilia for giveaways.
Many of my friends who have been to the US rave about the shopping opportunities there. I still think London is so much better. Might be that I prefer the British fashion scene. Most of the things that I bought in California were designer goods as the prices were lower than in Europe. Logical, I didn't really end up with a new wardrobe when I came home (which I sometimes do whenever I've been to London). All inn all, I didn't really understand what the rave was all about. I do however think that I might change my mind if I ever get to New York one day...
